Jawbone Up24 with 4.4.2?

Hello, my wife really wants an UP24 band, but until now, it hasn't been compatible. Verizon is rolling out the 4.4.2 update today.

Has anyone on another carrier successfully paired an UP24 band with their G2 running KitKat?
