JB 4.1.2 Thoughts?

Hi everyone, I just flashed 4.1.2 on my rooted (stock) ROM S3. Loving the mult window features just like the Note 2. But the best so far for me is they have added swappable notification icons. Now I can use driving mode easily without getting an app or diving in deep in the settings! :D

Would like to know what you guys think of it so far?

what are swappable notification icons? do you mean that you can alter the icons for each notification type?
 
The toggles in the notification area.... are editable. There's a menu to select what you want.

Samsung are really listening to people with the s3
 
I'll be flashing it soon, just waiting for JB Domination to be compatible (the author says it might be available tonight) and then it's done :)
 
I've been using the jb domination pre release for some time. Couldn't put up with the ugliness otherwise
 
Sorry no. We're all international users. You'll have to wait for sprint to announce it
 
he i was just curious do u guys have the home screen rotational? As in if u turn the home screen sideways does the screen rotate? I was just curious if this was a 4.1.2 feature or an omega rom feature.
 
No rotation on the home screen for stock ROM 4.1.2. But I think you can have those with a custom ROM. Saw it on YouTube somewhere. :)

If you want homescreen rotation, just use a launcher. almost all of them allow it

thats why somehow i will always end up on a custom rom just when i thought i would use the 4.1.1 they released 4.1.2. And im sure by the time 4.1.2 comes to india they will have 4.2 elsewhere.
 
I think I know the answer to this but.....
I have an unlocked, stock international variant and am UK based.
I assume I need to wait for a UK release of 4.1.2 in much the same way I had to wait for the original 4.1.1
Correct?

Yes, unless you want to manually install the Polish version... But I would recommend waiting.

What carrier are you on?
I have been looking the multi window feature for my AT&T GS3(i747), and I have not been able to find it.

Any suggestions?
