Help JBL Soundboost 2's "Dirac Panorama Sound" snap, crackles, and pops [HELP]

Anyone with the Moto Z2 Force try using the "Dirac Panorama Sound" option inside the JBL Soundboost 2 app? It sounds dramatically better but only for about 2 seconds, then it does nothing but crackles and pops. It’s completely broken.

Does the feature actually work for anyone else?? Is my speaker broken or worse, my Z2 Force???

Dirac Panorama Sound should keep sounding dramatically better

A Motorola firmware update should address that issue so I suggest checking for an update.
