Apps JCreator question

I dont plan on making an app or anything but i just started Computer programming as a sophomore and they have me usin a Java IDE called JCreator, i jus want to know what im going to be learning with this
 
JCreator is a much less robust but still functional IDE for learning JAVA - it allows you ot compile and run programs written in JAVA, with the optional ability of either assigning them to projects or just running them as standalone programs.
