I looked on the Samsung website and they have a Simple Upgrade Tool to download so that you can update your VM Samsung S II to Jelly Bean.

I don't want to start using Odin, would rather stay with a phone with a boot loader. ButI have to say, for the galaxy s series, Samsung seems to be the manufacture(besides google phones) when it comes to updates. The evo 3d and the s2 came out the same time with 2.3, and the s2 got two major updated comes to 3d that only got one. Motorola should be best the manufacture in a year or two since Google owns it now.
