Help Jelly Bean update

Hey guys I have a Roger's samsung galaxy s3 but I'm with fido. The update should be coming out by the end of the month. I'm new to android and just wondering how exactly is this update going to work? Will I have to get a Roger's sim card to get the update? or will I get a notification even though I am with Fido?

Are you unlocked or does a fido sim work with rogers device out of the box?

I was wondering the same thing. I have a Rogers Samsung Galaxy S3, that I've unlocked with an unlock code and am using on Telus. How do updates work in this situation?
