could we possibly port jb by using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739561 and just edit the boot.img?

I actually have a zip compiled with the init.rc files edited and also the proper files moved, doubt it will boot but its worth a shot

or do we have to wait till stupid lg gives us the the ics kernel sources?

or is it eaiser just to make a cm10 build?

IDK if it would be easier, but CM10 would be amazing.

That would seem to work BUT I believe you would still have the data problem
