Jellybean update...

I just saw that there is a new android version out and the one on my phone is ice cream sandwhich. I'm not familiar with updating software on androids as I just got this phone, but with my iphone I could just do it wireless and it would notify when updates were available. How do I get Jellybean on my HTC One X?

Has yet to be released for the One X. Currently the only OFFICIAL device is the Galaxy Nexus.

The latest one is just an interim update of Ice Cream Sandwich which is currently being rolled out (it hasn't reached the UK yet but hopefully any day).

I imagine that Jelly Bean won't be available for a couple of months at least. In the meantime:

Settings > About Phone > Software updates > Check now

This will check to see if an OTA (over the air) update is available.

I would be very surprised if Jelly Bean took that long, after all HTC usually update miles quicker than Samsung & according to this the SGS3 will be getting it soon
