.jfif photos

Hiya All. I am new to android phones (August 2011). I have a Samsung Galaxy SII on T-Mobile.

The problem I have is I have a 16gb Sandisk memory card which I have loaded with photos from my laptop using the drag-and-drop technique. Some of my photos I can see on my mobile with the extension .jpg but some are not visible and show up with the extension .jfif. All the photos I can view on the memory card via my laptop.

I would really appreciate any help.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums!
Try renaming one of the .jfif files to .jpg and see if the phone can pick it up.

I have quite a few photos with the extension .jfif. Can your or one of my friends here on Android Forums suggest a way that I can bulk change the extensions either on my laptop or suggest an App for my Android which would do the same. Thanks again.

I use a utility to bulk rename files called A.F. Rename.
