The other day I realized that all of my contacts were saved to my phone and I wanted to back them up to my Google account. I exported all of my contacts to a .vcf file and imported that file to my Gmail account. All looked good. I accidentally unjoined a contact on my phone from one on Google. Now when I rejoin the contacts, that contact doesn't sync with Google.
It looks like I have to edit the Google contact to make it match the phone contact. Am I not understanding how this works? I thought that if I joined the phone contact to the Google contact that the information from the phone would transfer over.
Anyone have any insight?
