Hi, just got the LG G5 as my upgrade. Always been a HTC fan but decided to go for something different after getting tired with the HTC's rubbish cameras. I'm enjoying the phone so far but I'm finding scrolling up or down through twitter/facebook and web pages isnt smooth as it was on my last phone. Its very juddery and just isnt a smooth experience. Is this normal, has anyone else experience this issue?

Looking forward to your replies.

My G5 has been smooth sailing, not a hint of lag or hesitation.

If you're using the fb app,it's known to be buggy.
I don't fb or use Twiter,so,I can't exactly compare apples to apples with your situation.
Try deleting both for a day or two,see if the problem is originating from either.
If not, more than likely, another user-installed app on your phone is causing the problem.

It doesnt do it in the setting menus or app drawer but the apps above definitely have a problem. I dont want to do a factory reset but I think i'll do that and slowly reinstall apps and see what happens from there.

Thanks for the tip, tried that and still have the same problem. Its not massive lag but just doesn't seem to be as smooth as my last phone.

The only other thing I can recommend is enabling Developer Options, which will give you access to the Animation Settings & change the three animation values to .5

Thanks for the suggestion, tried that but still didn't help. Google chrome seems to be the worst when scrolling up and down through web pages.
Edit, factory reset didn't help

Sorry for the double post.

After doing a factory reset I receieved an OTA update and hoped it would help but didn't still the same. I will take a video soon and upload so you guys can see what I mean. If no one else is having this problem could it be a hardware issue causing the problem. Is it worth returning to the place I brought it? Really dont want to do that as I'll be without a phone for a few weeks :(

Update: turned off GPS and it seems to be better, facebook and chrome are almost perfect and twitter is better but not great. Think I can live with the way it is at the moment so hopefully a future update fixes it completely.
