Juice Defender question

I have juice defender and ultimate juice.. however it keeps logging me out of trillian (a chat client with aim facebook messenger and msn) whenever i shut my screen off. is there any way i can possibly get the benefits of the application.. but also keep my chat active?

There are no benefits from those "battery saving" apps.

You're getting logged off because you have JD set to "disable 3G when screen's off". Most of the juice savings is from turning off mobile data.

You can set Trillian as a part of the "exception" (i.e. if this app is active then do NOT turn off mobile data) by going to advance mode and scroll to triggers and find the apps trigger and config Trillian as an exception.

However, you will get far LESS power savings if you do that, since your 3G radio is on all the time.
