I have a USB port in my 2009 Hyundai. I also have built in Bluetooth, which I intended to use for hands free cell phone. I never got around to syncing the phone, so have not used Bluetooth.
Now that I know I can stream internet radio in the car, I may have a reason. I also want to know if I can just get a cable to connect the phone directly into the USB port if Bluetooth doesn't work.
Bluetooth had a limited number of phones it would recognize when I got the car, and I don't know if it will work with the Samsung Galaxy.
The USB port has mostly eliminated the need for a CD player. I just download the mp3's I want onto the memory stick, and go. If I could plug in the phone there, it would be really simple. I could also play any mp3's I have downloaded onto the phone's memory, right?
