Help Just got my G1

I have a question, I just received my T-Mobile Android in the mail, I just hooked it up to the charger, what is the recommended first charge time for this phone?

Well, if it's like my last 3 HTC phones, the battery will have a nearly full charge.
At least 50% but no more than 80%.

I would assume a 1-2 hours charge is enough.

I know mine arrives tomorrow, around noonish.
My wife will be home. I've asked that she charge it the remainder of the way ... cause if when I get home, I'm staying up all night playing with it! LMAO
