Its called geoshop and its associated with the following website

Its similar to craigslist in the fact that it allows you to sell and search for products. However, unlike craiglist Geoshop automatically notifies customers that are physically close to your product. To explain consider the following example.
Assume you are selling a boat. In the past you would have to place it on the main highway to get people to notice it or place an ad on the internet. With Geoshop leave the boat in your driveway. People that drive by (say several blocks away) are notified of your boat. This allows the customer to view your boat why/he she is physically close to it, thus saving time. It also save the seller the hassle/cost of placing the boat on the main highway.
Using webservices GeoShop can search both products sold by private sellers as well as products sold by your local merchants. Need to pick up milk... Tell Geoshop, which in turn will remind you when you get close to a grocery store. Pick up hammer for your home improvement project... again tell Geoshop which will notify you when you get close to a home improvement store or a private seller, selling a hammer.
