Root Just rooted phone but no need to format SD card

Hi all,
I've been reading on this all day and decided to try. I too kept getting internal memory low error.
I used the file in this link to copy and update my 2.3.6 GT-S5830 ace: youtube.com/watch?v=NXErisG6nmY
Then I installed from the Play Store: Link2SD. Once I opened the app, it asked to give it superuser power and I was then able to select the app (FB, Tune in Radio, Whatsapp, etc) onto the SD card.
When I go into settings-applications-memory usage I know see it increased from 28MB free to 93.
I cannot move the remainder of the apps over to SD (Gmail, Maps, Play Store, etc) cause it gives me failure error about install failed.
My question is this, because I was successful at moving some apps to SD, I no longer need to reformat and partition my SD card correct? Am I done, or is there more I need to do?

Thank you Ayush. Back to my question, I no longer need to reformat my SD card?

Hi Mona, if you're having the results you wanted, why ask for more?
Of course with partition you can create links in apps that you cant send to SD, and get them out of internal memory (dont touch system apps until you know what you're doing)
When you want more space and faster apps then you deal with SD partition. Enjoy your phone and have fun.
Hope I helped
