Just took my first flight!

That was pretty fun, but wow... I didn't think it would be so difficult. Next time I'm going to take it into a MUCH more open space so I can play with the controls without having to worry about my surroundings so much.

It was a fairly breezy day, too... which did make navigating a little hard and I'm wondering if it is what caused the Karma to lose connection several times.

Biggest disappointment: 20 minute battery life.

Bigger than biggest disappointment: GoPro isn't selling spare batteries yet.

I took my six year old son out for Karma's first flight. We had a blast and my son, who has never flown a drone before, was able to control the drone without any problems. We launched on a baseball field with very little wind so I'm sure that helped.

I do wish that GoPro had extra batteries available, but I was able to pop off the stabilizer and connect it to the Grip and get over an hour of filming in before the camera battery gave out. The stabilization is amazing and looks great.
