This was an upleasant surprise after I updated to the most recent version. I use Podcast Republic to listen to podcasts, and after the update it was not able to play any of my downloaded files. The same is true of my other third party music app, Shuffle. It appears that only google play music will work now.
I have updated Podcast Republic and redownloaded the podcast I was trying to listen to, and even downloaded a new file, with no luck. It just says 'can not play the downloaded file'.
I have a Motorola Droid Turbo that just updated to Android version 6.0.1, and my phone is not rooted.
Can anyone help?
