just upgraded to S7 from S4

That's a nice upgrade path, hope it works out well. A lot of changes will depend on just which version of Android is on your S4 and what will on that S7. A good way to initially learn about your S7 is to just use it for a day or two to get familiar with it, and then dig into the Settings menu to get a more in-depth idea on what kind of features it has (and don't forget a lot of menu options have their own sub-menu options). Go through each one so you can customize and optimize your phone the way you want. We all set up our phones differently and there's almost always some option buried deep in some sub-menu that isn't always very obvious at first.

In the meantime, install Samsung's 'Smart Switch' on a computer:

and use it to do a full back up of your S4 to transfer your data to your S7.
 
It seems that you also get a free heart rate monitoring service with the built-in sensor.
 
Congrats on your new shiny thing.... MrsPsionandy has one and thinks its great.... the days of sitting behind a laptop are gone.. she now does most of her webbrowsing on the phone now..

... and it takes some pretty nice pictures too
 
One thing you don't get is a removable battery :(

It is a much better phone though all the way around otherwise. You'll definitely notice the much bigger, brighter, and better screen right away.
