Everything I have read seems to indicate that K-9 Mail should support Push from GMail. Unfortunately I can't seem to get it to work. I can manually hit "Check Mail" and have everything update. I can also set automatic polling with success. I just don't seem to get push notifications of email. Push seems to be greatly preferred to polling for battery usage.
For what it's worth, I have a Samsung GalaxyS2. The Gmail account settings are with IMAP, so that does not seem to be a problem. Has anyone else been able to get this working?
