K9 mail: delete contact

I have placed a wrong email address in my contacts and it pops up when I type the first letters. So I keep sending ther email to a misspelt address..

Is there any way to remove a contact?

Thanks for any help.

Nick

K-9 does not maintain your contacts, they are maintained in the Contacts or People app on your phone. Go to the Contact app, find the contact with the misspelled email, make the correction and you should be golden.

AHAH! Thank you. I had found the Contacts app, but was not sue if it was what I wanted. I could only see w contacts, so I left it. But after your advice I went back and trierd all the folders and found all my contacts.

Only if you are rooted. Google Play is the app store, so I wouldn't recommend removing it. But I have removed the books/games/movies /and music from my phone. Music is usually the built in music player, so if you use that, you can't remove it. Which version of Android are you running, with which phone? I clear space by moving apps to SD card...
