K9 Mail question

I am using K9 mail on my Droid. Like the app, but was wondering - if I go to the folder level it will tell me that I have 50 emails in the trash. I delete the 50 trashed emails and when I go back to the folder lever it will tell me I have 35 emails in the trash, but there are none there. Are those 35 emails hidden somewhere on the phone or is is just miscommunication from the email program? Any thoughts...

I believe it to be a miscommunication. You can always check your account on a computer to verify one way or another.

I would just go ahead and mark all read in that folder and be done with it.
