Keep camera from going to sleep

Ozhatch

Lurker
I've set up my S5 on a tripod, waiting for the local birds to come to the feeder in my garden. I have a Bluetooth remote shutter release and I settle down to wait. After a few minutes, the camera reverts to my main screen, and after another few minutes the camera goes to sleep. So far, no birds arrive.

Is there a way to set the phone to stay awake, in camera mode for an indefinite period? Birds are so unpredictable.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

TIA.

You could download my favorite photographic app called Goony Cam, it is free from the play store, it has no sleep timer at all, it can save your memories forever on the app, that is the bad thing about it :D

Or invest in a bird shooting suite like this :)
