Root Keep having to edit the hosts file

Hi there, I've been having this problem where I keep having to edit my hosts file on my tablet becuase all Google services will stop working. Basically, I have to add a # infront of this "127.88.148.190 android.clients.google.com mtalk.google.com"and thats the only way for any Google applications to work, like the playstore and Youtube.
I dont know the technical reasons behind it, but it works. Anyway, my problem is that I have to do this ALL THE TIME and it gets incredibly annoying. Like after I fix it, maybe an hour or so later, I will have to go do it again because a copy will show up underneath the old one like this:
#127.88.148.190 android.clients.google.com mtalk.google.com
127.88.148.190 android.clients.google.com mtalk.google.com

Its really getting on my nerves and I dont know why its happening so frequently.
So what I would like to know is, how can I permanently solve this problem? If there is no permanent solution, is there anything I can do to make sure it doesnt happen often?
Im on a rooted Galaxy Tab 8.0 if that matters.

Also Im very sorry if this is a really dumb problem, I just couldn't find anything about it

How about power off tablet. Just hold down power button for 10-15 second or til screen go black then power tab into recovery mode . just wipe in this order cache and data . then reboot back into system

Yes I said to do this to power off the tablet. Once tablet is off now you need to power tablet into recovery mode . then proceed to wiping cache and data and power back into system
