keeping phones screen on

Hello,
My phone is Huawei ascend G525. I would like to read PDF files and also watch movies for long time. Can this cause any harm to my phone or its CPU or other elements? My phone's screen and its bottom corner get warm.

Not at all. I've been using PDAs and smartphones as ebook and media viewers readers for years and I've never seen a case of screen burn in from the activities that you describe. The only times I've ever heard about CPU damage have been from people who have overclocked their CPUs.

I would add, the screen and phone getting warm, depending on the screen brightness. Also, your battery will drain faster.

No harm comes to your CPU, but your battery dies off really fast. It will also be wise of you to get a backup battery and power.
