Keeping Tmo

Is there any device coming that worth me keeping Tmobile pass the summer? No Nexus is a big hit right now. I have seen no new devices that will be vanilla.

There's rumors of a LG quad-core coming as the next of the 'G' series of vanilla units. Also the HTC One S in late April, while not vanilla, should be very good. You could get an international version of the Nexus if you really want one.

I just got the Amaze and once I got Sense outta the way (without rooting) I'm really happy with it. Has a lotta crapware though.

How did you? My own preference is stock Android on HTC hardware, but I'm not confident in my ability to root a phone without destroying it. Haven't found a worthwhile replacement for my sadly-defunct G2.

You can't eliminate Sense entirely without rooting and installing a custom ROM. Friggin' Sense crap infects too much, it's a disease. But I got rid of the worst of it by using GoLauncher, GoDialer, GoContacts, Enhanced Email, etc. Got it to the point I doubt I'll fool with rooting.

Supposedly the Note will be T-Mo branded soon.

Colnago is correct. Only uncertain thing is if it will be called Note. It is already in test and there are pics in the wild with the T-Mo branding
