Help Kernel (Android OS)

jschlis

Newbie
It seems that a rather large chunk of my battery is being consumed by Kernel (Android OS). This started about two weeks ago. I am running 4.4. Here are the GSAM stats. I can't figure out what is causing this. I have also attached a screen shot

I have the update but am very skeptical of downloading. It took me months just to download 4.4. I keep hearing issues with 4.4.4. Signal issues and battery issues so I am just waiting.

No signal issues for me. Battery is about the same, maybe slightly better. So, if I'd end a day with 30% battery with 4.4, now it'd be more like 35-40. No more double home bug, no more share bug.
