This is a custom kernel for the ZTE Zmax Pro Z981. You must be on LineageOS to install this kernel.

Instructions:

1. You must must be rooted and have LineageOS 14.1 rom installed
2. Flash the Freedom Kernel zip in twrp, but remain in twrp and
3. Flash magisk to root the kernel, if you don’t you’ll bootloop
4. You can now reboot and enjoy!
5. You’ll need the Kernel Auditor app to control all kernel features

Thanks. I've been really liking the KCAL color control. I set the saturation to 50 and it makes the colors really pop almost like an amoled display.

I flashed this kernel and use Kernel Adiutor to boost my Zmax's speaker volume +4.

Awesome! It's much louder now and still clear.

I added sound control to my kernel which lets you boost volume louder than stock. This also enables a new tab in Kernel Adiutor for adjusting sound.
