Keyboard crashes after Voice to Text

I'm using Note 3, and Lollipop 5.0.
Just recently, as of two days ago, the screen that happens
when you hit the microphone to speak and convert it to
text, just stays on the screen.
It never goes back to the keyboard and it never goes off
the screen. Even after I back out of the texting app.
I've tried other texting apps and I've tried to download other
keyboard apps. It happens on all of them.

There's no way for me to make this go off the screen other than
reboot the phone.

What could possibly be going on?

Any ideas?

OK, so here is a shorter version:

Whenever I use Voice to Text the keyboard freezes on the screen and it doesn't matter what I do, even exit the app, the keyboard stays on the screen.

Any ideas????
