keyboard in portrait mode

Hi all,

I tried all kinds of keyboards, but still couldn't find one that behaves nicely in portrait mode.

I do not like "predictions" so when I type, I type all the letters.

I would really like to find a keyboard in which I could decide how much spacing there is between each letter, as most of those 3rd party keyboards feel clustered. I only found those in which you could adjust the letter height. I am looking for letter width adjustment.

Could anyone help?

Thanks.

You should take a look at Thumb Keyboard. I find portrait keyboards in general have keys that are too close together. Thumb Keyboard has an interesting portrait layout that I personally like. It is a split keyboard where the keys on the left side are shifted up to make the keys wider. Basically the left side keys are stacked above the keyboard for the right side keys. This has the effect of making each key wider. You will have to get used to typing which requires you to hold the phone with your left hand higher than your right. If you want keys that are bigger on a portrait keyboard, this does the trick.
