keyboard microphone said in english but writes in spanish

the phone is htc mytouch 4g carrier tmobile. well the main problem is that when i text or write an email, before this would not happen, but now i say it in english and it writes in spanish what it thinks i said. very annoying and ill say what i tried in settings. in language and keybaord i made sure swype is language english in select language it is english.
in voice input and output settings voice recognizer it is english and on the actual keyboard i made sure at the bottom left it says EN (swype predicts in english just the mic tries to do spanish)

Try settings>language and input>swype settings>locale settings> (select locale) to make sure it was set to English
