Keyboard symbols

Looking for a keyboard that includes numbers and common symbols, so I don't have to switch back and forth to insert a dash etc. Any suggestions? Thanks! ...Steve

I'm a pretty big fan of Swiftkey. Common symbols appear as secondary functions on many of the letter keys - just long-press a letter to enter the corresponding symbol. You can also go into the Swiftkey settings to adjust the long-press delay - I have mine set to 200ms which makes it quick and easy for inserting symbols. :)

Both SwiftKey and Swype have symbols displayed on the keys. To type the symbol, you have to tap and hold on the key. There are other third party keyboards that also have this feature. Kii is one, but it is no longer available.

The Kii Keyboad is another one that lets you customize a ton of things to your liking. The dev had a beef with the people at Google evidently and it was taken off the Play Store, but you can find the free version on the net still if you do a search!

Like others, he could have gone to the Amazon store, he could have posted the free versions on a forum and changed to PayPal for purchasing - instead he chose to pull his apps and abandon his paying customers.

Not sure about sticking to something like that under the circumstances.

All good points, you are obviously a lot more versed on the whole saga than I am. I gotta say though, that I have the paid version, and I can still download a limitless amount of skins from the Play Store via the app, so I really don't feel all that slighted honestly! A lot of people on the Kii Google Community aren't as forgiving as I am though, lol.

Hacker's Keyboard also has the direction arrows and more in landscape on a tablet. Super Keyboard Pro also has the numbers and symbols on long press. I switch between both.
