Help Keyboard typing delays

Has anyone noticed with the tablet docked, that from some aplications there is a delay when typing?

I do get delays when typing on this forum especially. It is rather annoying, but I seem to be getting used to it. The delays seem less now with the latest firmware upgrade.

I went into the keyboard settings (settings>language and input>configure input method> asus keyboard) and turned off all the stuff you really don't need for a physical keyboard (i.e. word reselection, word prediction, etc.). I noticed a significant reduction in input lag after turning that stuff off. It would be a good place to start if you have yet to do so.

One thing I've noticed is that I don't see a delay from the e-mail clients but I do from the web browsers that i use.
