Everything else is flimsy and plastic, and will break sooner or later The metal kickstand with magnetic closure you find on Seidio SURFACE (or Best Buy Platinum - the same re-branded case but cheaper) - is the bar none. Plus SURFACE itself is a very nice slim case, and you can add CONVERT on top of it for extra outdoor protection.

You can check out a ton of pictures from different SURFACE cases I reviewed for Note 2, S4, and Note 3 in my Review page. Considering S3 is an older phone, I'm sure you can get a really good deal on it now.

Check out this case. It has a great kickstand that is probably the most durable and the case is still very slim. This is just like an i-blason case. I have not used a Minisuit, only an i-blason. However, this design is excellent! The kickstand can be used in portrait or landscape mode which most cannot.

Here's one from i-blason. It's not their Transformer slim which is like the other link I posted up. It's a thicker case but it also has more protection. Just another option. Between the two, I like the minisuit case for the S3 better.

I have many cases for my S3, and I can tell you that Seidio makes the best kickstand cases I have seen. The case itself will last you a long time. The kickstand is the best quality you will find on the market. Many kickstands will break within a few weeks, some in days. Go with the Seidio.
