Help Kies Firmware Update

my S3 has just been updated to the latest firmware and when i connect it to Kies it say there's a new update again.

there's no description. is this safe? should i upgrade through Kies?

kies is such a shitty program...i installed it yesterday after receiving my galaxy and it ate 98% of my cpu and i had to uninstall it (i ran out of juice and realized at the last moment it's wifi component was the issue)

seems like a memory leak in the kies program
