I just had to reinstall all of the software on my Windows 8 computer. Kies did not go well. The Kies Mini installation file said was for the TMobile GS3. I couldn't find one for the att version so I tried Kies. That installation was problematic and the application did not work. I tried uninstalling, and that didn't work well either. Have any of you had found good solutions with Kies?

Control panel - Add/Remove Programmes > Select Kies and remove.
Best solution out there.
I run linux, so Kies is not an option, do I miss it, no. Do I need it....no.
I did that. It just removed Kies from the list of programs in control panel, but not my computer. Might have to reinstall to completely uninstall.
I got the problem solved. I reinstalled Kies over the previous installation. I downloaded the installation file first. It works so much better, I think I'll leave it on my computer. I am guessing that the previous problems weren't the fault of the computer or doing something wrong. It was probably a corrupt installation file. At least that problem is fixed.
