KIES no longer works, SmartSwitch ... errr ?

When I try to use KIES 3 with my new S7 its tells me not supported and install SmartSwitch

I did but it only seems to offer backup/restore/outlook sync

Where is option to add video or music which is what I used Kies for ?
 
the name is sort of worrying syncios ... is this an apple app, and not really optimized for Android?

Just went to try it ... and unlike SmartSwitch it did not detect my phone was connected and then asked me to enable development mode and USB debugging.

Seems pretty dubious ?
