Help Kies

[Speed Junkie]

I downloaded Kies today, and after many an attempt it installed. However, it refuses to recognise my device and just continues "connecting device".

Any tips?

try updating the software via it's menu. At least that's how it worked out for me. For me, it then started to download a 77mb file which took a very very long time, which I presumed was due to their server.

bro i think you need a driver so the pc can detect your device

Samsung support had me reinstall the drivers by double clicking
Program Files | Samsung | Kies | USB Drivers which did the trick.

Yeah I find I have to reinstall the phone drivers (from kies) almost every time I want kies to connect.
