Kind of an odd problem...

I had been trying out a few music players on my phone, and every time I tried one, I noticed it always included an album simply marked "SE". I never knew what it was, but I just figured it was some random data. Turns out, it's actually the sound effects from a game I have installed (Caligo Chaser, to be exact).

The problem is, I like to just shuffle my music whenever I listen, but since the sound effects are automatically included as part of my music library, they get shuffled in with my songs...

Is there any way to remove this "album" from appearing in media players, without deleting it (which would probably cause problems for the game)? I use Google Music, and I can't even find a way to delete an album through the app.

Greetings MRW,

You could try posting a no.media file in the SE folder. I use an app called Kumastudio.nomedia manager. It allows you to select any folder and place a no.media file inside it to prevent the system from scanning that folder.

Some media players use a folder option that will still look past the file, and for these, see if there is a setting in the options to allow you to manually select which folders you wish to include.

Hope this helps.
