Been having some issues with the kindle app on my nVidia Sheild K1 tablet.
Kindle app version is 7.5.0.51 although the problem has been ongoing for a very, very long time.
When I create a collection and add books to it, some times when I next load the app the collection remains, but all books have been removed from it. It appears to be random but also consistent in which collections it refuses to create.
For example... the 'Discworld' collection contains 39 books and it retains all books every time... But 'The Dresden Files' collection comes up empty as soon as you reload the app.... as does 'Enders Game', Greg Bears 'The Way Trilogy' and a whole host of others.
There are even some collections which retain a few books, but remove all others.
I only use the kindle app on a single device, so it's not a sync issue... every single book is in a mobi format and I use calibre to ensure all metadata is correct before even uploading to the device.
I've tried deleting collections and trying different naming combinations of the series without any luck... and it's kinda driving me a little potty.
I really don't understand why it's so randomly consistent in refusing to add (and retain) certain collections.
Today I tried to add a new collection and it worked... I then tried to add another collection and it refused to work.
I find collections very helpful when dealing with certain series of works, especially those that might contain multiple authors or a large number of works that I can organise in the correct order, so I don't start on the wrong book by mistake.
Any help would be appreciated.
