I bought 3 kindle fires from amazon when they were 199 for students. I was able to root the first one but the other 2 I can not. I have turned on the ADB under security. I am using Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v31. All 3 kindles have the current update 8.4.6. All I am getting is,
mount: Operation not permitted
4764 KB/s (380532 bytes in 0.077s)
5219 KB/s (1500495 bytes in 0.280s)
5477 KB/s (1165484 bytes in 0.207s)
remote object '/system/bin/ric' does not exist
.
Going to copy files to it's place
mount: permission denied (are you root?)
Rebooting again, please wait!
Could Not Find C:\Users\me\Downloads\New folder\ric
Restoring previous Backup! Please select the RESTORE MY DATA option now on your
device!
Now unlock your device and confirm the restore operation.
