Okay, so if any of you have tried getting Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories working on Gameboid, you have noticed that it freezes during the opening movie. Well, I wondered if it was just the movie causing the freeze, or the whole game. So, I did the whole take a .sav from visual boy advance (similar to getting cheats onto gameboid) and put it onto my sd card. Note: I used the same ROM for both VBA and gameboid. Well, lo and behold, when I started up CoM, it gave me the option to continue. I selected the saved game and it took me to the first save, right where I saved in VBA. I have played through the first cut scene just to see how it works. I have not encountered any more freezes. The only problem is that now and then, the game doesn't recognize any of my inputs for a couple of seconds. Also, sometimes in battle things slow down a bit. I don't know if these stem from me not having a whole lot of free memory on my G1 or if it is maxing out the processor.
I would like for someone with a droid or nexus one to get this to work and let me know how it goes.
