Kit Kat Upgrade...Lost contacts???

So I have the Droid Razr M from Verizon. I updated to KitKat and now I have lost all of my previous contacts. Has anyone else experienced this? What do I do?

Where are the contacts located? On the phone or on the SD card?

If the op has Verizon many backup options if they wasn't rooted

They were stored on my phone. No I did not do a factory reset

You don't have the contacts loaded on Google . have you ever used the Verizon backup

Try going into the app manager. Find contacts and see if there is anything under the cache and how much data there is.

I would be guessing your contacts are on the phone still, based off that, because your data is about double mine. But how to get them and where they are. ........ is another story.

yeah I had close to 300 but now there are only about 216

Try this out. ...... tap on the contacts icon, then hit the menu button. In the options that pop up there should be an option to.......Contacts to display.........tap on that. Then select.... All contacts.

Check your SD card to see if anything may look strange such as contacts

Thanks for the responses guys, I've tried all of that and still nothing which leads me to believe that they're lost...
