Kitkat 4.4.2 Webviewer error

I have an "off brand" tablet (Apex Model TM785CH) tablet running kitkat 4.4.2. To my knowledge there is no way for me to manually update my tablet from the update center.....I don't even think I have one actually within my tablet. I noticed that the system webviewer is no longer installed or compatible with kitkat. So I can't use apps without them crushing(error message). Is there a way for me to be able to update my tablet with some sort or apk file...or an some sort is webviewer/something similar to it. Or is it time for me to give up on my tablet and move on xD

I think you already knew that.

The tablet you have now was pretty cheap to begin with, but depending what you want to do, an Amazon Fire might be just the budget tablet you want. If you want something less ad-laden, then pay a little more and get a Samsung Tab.

Looking over the general specs for your model it's still adequate for really basic tasks, but there's one obvious issue that just isn't upgradeable, it only has 1GB of RAM.

That's debatable to be enough for KitKat, and even if you were to root it and install a custom ROM (if one is even available) that 1GB just isn't enough.
Also, KitKat is now down to about 13% of Android version market share. You're only going be encountering more and more outdated app and service issues as support drops for KitKat.

So I tend to agree, time to start thinking about moving on.
