kitkat and stock file manager

hi my phone xperia E4 dosnt support OTG(?) so i have plugged in a 32 GBsd external card.
iam awared about kitkat sd card restrictions but the stock file namager (file commander) can copy from internal memory
and paste(write) to external memory! does it means the stock file manager can override the kit kat restriction?
due to lack OTG support i want to use my external sd card as backup memory.
btw even if iam sure about lack of OTG can anyone corfim that? tx

The KitKat restrictions only affect third party apps. The stock file manager is a system level app, and thus have system level permissions, and is therefore not affected.
