Why does Knox require so many permisions?
I have a Samsung S4 from Verizon Wireless. This one app alone takes up 340 MB of storage space and 10 pages (I took screenshots) of permisions alone. It's not as if I even have an option to uninstall it. Thank you for your time.

Samsung's Knox is billed as a security feature that is supposed to allow seamless switching between a 'home' profile and a 'work' profile, or in other words it allows a multi-user account set up on your phone. Regarding why it requires so many permissions, it's also a very, very intrusive watchdog that Samsung opts to implement on its mobile devices, a system-level service that monitors things like if you root your phone (so they can deny repairing your phone for free even when it's still covered by a warranty).
