L70 Unlock Code

Has anybody unlocked a MetroPCS L70?
I purchased an unlock code on Ebay and they sent me all these numbers:

SIM_UNLOCK=735674xxxxxxxxxx
NSLCKUNLOCK=046548xxxxxxxxxx
CLCKUNLOCK=640251xxxxxxxxxx
PCKUNLOCK=268182xxxxxxxxxx
ESLCKUNLOCK= SP_LOCK=607571xxxxxxxxxx

But they didn't tell me which one is the code to use.

I tried the first two (SIM_UNLOCK and NSLCKUNLOCK) but I got a message "Unlock not successful" and it says I only have three tries. What happens if I fail on the third try? Which is the correct unlock code to use???
 
The phone is service provider locked. (You can confirm that by clicking on any other lock options.) So you should use SP unlock code.
 
None of my choices say SP UNLOCK.
The last one on my list is SP_LOCK, would that be the right one? SP_LOCK implies to me that it will lock something so that's why i didnt try it yet...

It really means unlock. I have unlocked three L70s using that code.

THANK YOU, you were correct. That was the unlock code... on my third try.

Multiple emails to the Ebay people who sent me the code and I never got an answer from them...


Now time to Root, unlock bootloader, and flash a new ROM!
 
is it better to use an unlock code site? or just go and have M-PCS do it?

Do you need a SIM when you unlock or would it be ok for it to be unlock and just use wifi ect.

If you have been using MetroPCS and meet their requirements, they will provide you unlock code free. Otherwise, you have to buy unlock code from somewhere else.

I always put a "foreign" SIM card in the phone where I unlock it. But from the ways to unlock L70, I guess it can be done without SIM card. You do not need to unlock the phone to use wifi.
 
I have 2 L70's and I used 2 different eBay unlock services. The first one sent me a bunch of codes and didn't tell me what to use and never responded to me, as outlined in post #1.
So I tried a different service the second time and they sent me the following response which was very easy to understand:

After you click buy it now send your IMEI as a message to the buyer. They sent me the code back within 5 -10 minutes.
 
I believe you can unlock for free by unlocking the bootloader and flashing a custom rom on it; at least I was able to do that on older LG phones...don't bite my head off if its incorrect I haven't tried it yet on my L70.
 
Why wouldn't you posted the code?? Did you truly spend over a bill?? Wow

jmm9218- I have been trying to unlock this LG Optimus L70 for a bit now... I can't get a code, you say you've unlocked a couple phones I am hoping you would be so kind as to share with me a code? Thank you in advance
 
So after I unlocked my phone it will not recognize the SIM card, screen reads please insert Metro PCS SIM, and I have a tmobile SIM in phone ..... PLEASE HELP
