Help lag issue

for a long time now i have been having the same issue with my phone and that is anytime i close the browser by either hitting the back button or the home button, it causes lag. it happens nine times out of ten. are there any solutions to this? i already turned animation off and still lags. any help is appreciated.

Have you tried another browser from the market instead of the stock app?
Im currently using Dolphin and am not having any lag issues.
