Larger icons

Is there any way to make Icons larger?....I like to make shortcuts of my contacts and the picture is way to small for my liking...any ideas?

since there are larger icons like clocks ect that take up more space on the screen, there must be a way to make a larger icon and assign a contact to it..or launch a contact from it.

i agree, maybe a widget editor, where you can choose the pic, the size of the icon, and the action when you tap on it. i would pay for something like that
