Largest Qi Wireless Charging Mat?

I'm absolutely the WORST at charging my devices. Phone, tablets, watch, speakers, etc... I don't seem to remember to charge it until the battery is dead and I need to go somewhere. Plus I ALWAYS lose my chargers.

I love the idea of the Qi Wireless charging mats but I want to be a bit more creative with it... I want to start a little DIY project where I take a coffee table or end table and embed/inlay a section of wireless charging and hide all the ugly chords.

I'm curious first to hear if anyone has seen a project like this attempted or completed before? What's the largest Qi Wireless charging pad you can buy?

I'd end up making them for three places:
  • My desk so I can charge multiple devices while I work
  • My nightstand so I can charge devices while I sleep
  • An end table or coffee table so guests can just put their device on the table and let it charge while hanging out

I know I could just buy 3 Qi Wireless chargers but that sounds too easy and I'm a difficult person. It'd be fun to try to make one and see how it goes. Couldn't really find anything online or on the forums already.

UPDATE: Google search for "Qi Wireless Charging Table" yields a bunch of good results... hmmmm... but still posting this cause I'm curious to hear if anyone here has tried or created or bought anything like this!

Interesting idea, Rob. This might not be exactly an answer/support you are looking for, but there is a cool wireless charger that you might like. Been trying to get a review sample from them for awhile, they don't even care that I posted hundreds of reviews on AndroidForums lol!!!

But nevertheless, this might be not the "largest" wireless charger, but in my opinion the smartest one. It's designed into a 45deg stand and includes 3-coil system versus a typical one coil. So you don't have to fish for a sweet spot to get the max current flow, and it works great with phones and tablets in both portrait and landscape modes.

If I get my hands on review sample, will definitely post my write up.
